Albert Becott "Bert" Smith, 46, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC.

Bert was born in Florence, SC a son of the late Albert "Al" J. and Elizabeth "Beth" Jordan Smith. He was a welder and was member of the Word of Life Church. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing but his passion was rabbit hunting with his dogs.

Surviving is his wife, Brandy Marlowe Smith; children, Lindsay Elizabeth Smith; sons, Alex David Smith and Brandon Becott (Kayla Ard) Smith; sister, Marianne (Matt) Segars; a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in the Word of Life Church, 942. S. Clayfield Road, Johnsonville, SC 29555, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday in the Liberty Southern Christian Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1277 Pope Road, Hemingway, SC 29554.
