Obituary

Albert Thomas "Toolbox" Foxworth, 74, husband of Deborah "Debbie" Matthews Foxworth passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2025 at his home in Hemingway, South Carolina.

A son of the late Thomas Marion and Ethel Woodberry Foxworth, Toolbox, as he was affectionately known to friends and family, was born on March 25, 1951, in Hemingway, South Carolina.  He spent his life rooted in the community where he was born.

Toolbox was a man who found joy in simple pleasures and hands-on pursuits. Whether casting a line into the water or tuning up a lawn mower, he had a knack for working with his hands and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Racing also held a special place in his heart, and he enjoyed the thrill and camaraderie it brought.  Above all, Toolbox loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them.

In addition to his wife, Toolbox is survived by a son, Charles Thomas (Jami) Foxworth; a daughter Mary Elizabeth (Drew) Evans; grandchildren: Christopher Thomas Foxworth, Matthew James Foxworth, and Orion Andrew Evans; sisters Marie (John) Cantey and Sandra (Mike) Rogers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Toolbox was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Marion Ulmer Foxworth and James Leland Foxworth as well as a nephew, Josh Rogers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Toolbox's memory to Morris Funeral Home, PO Box 158, Hemingway, South Carolina, 20554,

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
