Albert Ronald "Ronnie" Parsons, Sr., 69. Passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at his son's home.

Mr. Ronnie was born in Andrews, SC, a son of the late W. Albert and Rosa Corinne Barnes Parsons. He retired from Wellman Industries as an Industrial Mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding and listening to Bluegrass Music.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Lee Smothers Parsons; children, Albert Ronald "Ronnie" Parsons, II, Melanie Parsons, Mendy Langley, and Brandi Parsons;  life partner, Charlene Kirton; step-daughter, Pam Moore (Johnny); 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and awaiting the arrival of second; two sisters, Patsy Parsons Morris (Jimmy) and Cathy Parsons Cotton (Charles); sister-in-law, Linda Parsons.

He was predeceased by a son, Luther Clint Parsons; grandson, John Briar Boyd; brother, Wayne Edward Parsons.

Funeral services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 3, 2020 in the New Vision Free Will Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the New Vision Free Will Baptist Church, 2616 State Hwy. 41/51, Hemingway, SC 29554.
