Allen Foxworth, age 79, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, in a Florence nursing home after an extended illness.

He was born in Hemingway, the son of the late King David Foxworth and Ila Graham Foxworth. Mr. Allen was a member of New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church, where he served as a Sunday School teacher and as a Deacon.

He is survived by his daughters, Darlene Barbara Johnson, Kathy Geraldine (Todd) Drummonds, and Cynthia Olean (Glenn) Walker; a son, Derwin Allen Foxworth; 12 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; and a sister, Geraldine Parker.

He was predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be conducted by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway at the New Prospect FWB Church Cemetery, 4221 Sheminally Rd., Pamplico, SC, at 2:00PM on Monday, January 10, 2022, officiated by Rev. Lanney Ard.

The family will receive friends from 12:00PM – 1:30PM Monday, January 10, 2022, in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC.
