Allen Lerue "Mouse" Marsh, 82, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021, at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC.
Mr. Allen was born in the Muddy Creek Community, a son of the late Charlie Coleman and Ruby Perry Marsh. He graduated from Hemingway High School with the class of 1957 and was retired from working in management at Wellman Industries. He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church as well as the church's men's club. Mr. Allen enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing. He took part in many clubs revolving around these hobbies, including membership in the Carvers Bay Hunting Club, part-ownership of Newham Lake, and was a founding member of the Tommyhawk Fox Pen.
He is survived by a sister, Elnora Moore Miles; brothers, Kenneth Medrick (Katie) Marsh and Lorey Gene (Margaret) Marsh; nieces and nephews, Kenneth Lee Moore, Rickey (Kathy) Moore, Gaylon (Debra) Moore, Ken (Nannette) Marsh, Jr., Kendra M. (Mike) Roberts, Chad (Sonya) Marsh, and Chan (Charlene) Marsh; niece-in-law, Tammy Moore; grand nieces and nephews, Lauren Moore, Veronica Moore, April Moore, Rickey Dean (Beth) Moore, Jr., Jason Moore, Tarrynn (Timothy McConnell) Marsh, Thatcher Marsh, Zachary Marsh, Zane Marsh, Kadon Roberts, Lindsey (Darren) Squires, Ruby Marsh, Cheyenne Marsh, and Coleson Marsh; and 7 great-grand nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by nephews, Greg Moore and Kevin Marsh; and brothers-in-law, Kenneth Moore and Sparky Miles.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 1760 Pope Road, Hemingway, SC 29554. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends after the service at the home of Med and Katie Marsh, 185 Marsh Road, Hemingway, SC 29554.
