Andrew “Buddy” Irby Stone, Jr., husband of Bonnie Hanna Stone, passed away on October 26, 2026. Born on March 24, 1945 to the late Andrew Irby Stone Sr, and Harriett Newell Stone. He was deeply loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was co-founder and co-owner of Stone’s Electrical Contractors along with his brothers Ray and Jerry Stone. He was an avid fan of both the Carolina Gamecocks and the Atlanta Braves. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with the family he loved so dear.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie Hanna; stepson Chad (Angela) Altman; stepdaughter Crystal (Joey) Cook; Grandchildren Michaela (Wesley) Hodge, Bryce (Shannon) Altman, Jayce Cook, Cole Cook, Jackson Carroll, and Kristopher Stone; 5 great-grandchildren; his sisters Virginia (Billy Joe) Crocker, Glenda (Wayne) Ridgeway, Vickie McKenzie, and Teresa (Earl) Baxley; sister-in-law Susan Stone and Beth Stone; brother-in-law Kerry Tanner; and son-in-law Jason Carroll.

He is Predeceased by his sister Janet Tanner; his brothers Bainey Ray Stone and Jerry Wayne Stone; step daughter Cissy Carroll; and his loving dog Cricket.

A celebration of life directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be held in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, on October 29, 2026 at 2:00 P.M.

The family will receive friends in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N Main St. Hemingway SC, 29554, on Thursday, October 29, 2026 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. A burial will follow after the services at the Old Johnsonville Cemetery 846 S. Georgetown Hwy Johnsonville, SC 29555.
