Ann Whitten Hyman, 71, wife of Rev. Luther Hyman, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021, in a Florence, SC, hospital.

Mrs. Ann was born in Laurens, SC, a daughter of Mary Stover Cox and the late James Alvin Whitten. She was a homemaker and a member of Daviston Church of God. She loved traveling to the beach and the mountains, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Rev. Luther Hyman; her mother, Mary Stover Cox; a brother, Mike (Toni) Whitten; a sister, Linda Johnson; special nephews and niece, Sidney Chockley, Matthew Gordon, Mason Gordon, and Nathan Gordon; and 23 nieces and nephews that they loved and considered to be their own.

She was predeceased by a sister, Kathy Felts.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 3pm in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be at the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S Georgetown Hwy, Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 11, 2021, from 2pm to 3pm in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N Main St, Hemingway, SC 29554.
