Annie Elizabeth Joye, 73, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 in a Florence hospital.

Ms. Annie was born in Dillon, NC, a daughter of the late James Dawson and Ruby Ann Feagin Carpenter. She was a retired line operator for the MRD Department of Wellman Industries. She enjoyed gardening, working with flowers, and attended the Senior Citizens Group at the Community Center.

She is survived by her children, James Joye, Richard W. Joye, and Patsy Ann Beck; sister, Kathleen Carpenter; nephew, Ricky Rhames; nieces, Teresa Powell, Kathy Miller, Jeanette Brown, Gaynell Ram, and Jessica McGowan.
She was predeceased by a son, Robert Joye.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC will be 2 PM Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in the Lake Chapel Cemetery, 860 Lake Chapel Rd., Hemingway, SC 29555. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
