Anthony Gordon McDonald "Tony", 65, passed away peacefully at MUSC Health Black River Medical Center, Cades SC on October 6, 2023.

Tony was born in Florence SC the son of the late Thomas McDonald and Della Huggins Cameron. Tony retired from Wellman Industries where he worked as an Industrial Mechanic. He loved building engines, driving fast cars and always had a need for speed.  He was very talented in many areas.

He is survived by his son's Jared (Lynn Allen) McDonald, Trent (Stephanie) McDonald; Stepsons James (Misty) Evans and Brandon Evans; siblings, Terry (Russell) Tucker, Tammy (Richard) Lee, Tina (Timmy) Cox, Thomas (Karen) McDonald, Amy McDonald, Lynn (Rev. Keith) Thompson, Will (Pam) Cameron, Jesse (Libby) Haselden; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild;  numerous nieces and nephews; and special family friends, Brooks Easterling and Jacob Easterling.

He was predeceased by his mother and step-father Della and Thomas "Shot" Cameron and his father, Thomas McDonald.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. with services to follow at Morris Funeral Home Chapel located at 416 N. Main Street, Hemingway, SC, 29554.  Burial will be in the Eaddy-Ford Cemetery located at 481 S. Eaddy Ford Road, Johnsonville, SC  29555.
