Archie Eason Barnhill, III, 70, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, at MUSC Health, Charleston, SC after a brief illness.

Mr. Barnhill was raised in Georgetown County, SC, a son of the late Honorable Archie Eason Barnhill, Jr., and Annie Paul Barnhill. He was a graduate of Pleasant Hill High School, Coastal Carolina University, and the University of Southern Mississippi. He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Mr. Barnhill was a teacher and Administrator in Williamsburg and Florence Counties. Archie loved sports as a participant and as a spectator and was an avid tennis player. He was very generous and was always willing to help out a friend. He was a loving father and devoted husband

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Deborah Cantey Barnhill and a daughter, Austin Elizabeth Barnhill; three sisters, Joyce B. (Mike) Hankins, Patsy B. (Nicky) Lewis, and Alice B. Dagresta; brother, R. Keith (Hope) Barnhill and he was loved by his many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by a brother, Stanley O'Neil Barnhill and a sister, Annette B. Phillips,

Memorial services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, July 26, 2021 in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 1760 Pope Road, Hemingway, SC 29554.

The family will receive friends after the service.

Memorials may be made to your local Parkinson's Foundation or Epworth Children's Home, PO Box 50466, Columbia, SC 29250.
