Atlas Wayne "Bill" Stone, 78, husband of Noonie Eaddy Stone, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Stone was born in Hannah, SC, a son of the late Joseph Lakco and Gracie Stone Stone. He was retired from Wellman Industries as the Lead Electrician over the Fiber Division and was a member of the Prospect Pentecostal Holiness Church where he served as a faithful Deacon and Choir Director for over 30 years and was also a member of Black Oak Hunting Club for over 40 years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Noonie Eaddy Stone; Sons, Eric Stone and Rev. Shep (Stacy) Stone; siblings, Joseph "Bunk" (Bonnie "Shug") Stone, Eulene Robertson, Cherry Manus, Elevene (Herman "Bunn") Hanna, Mary Stone, Topsy (Gene) Turner, and Donna (Kevin) Morning; grandchildren, Hunter Dylan Stone, Avery Warren Stone, Cameron Gracie Stone, Lilly Catherine Smith, and Samuel Atlas Smith.

He was predeceased by a son, Patrick Timothy Stone, a grandson, Jentzen Eli Stone, and brothers, Gene Stone and Landal "Bud" Stone.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 3, 2023 in the Prospect Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the Eaddy Ford Cemetery, 481 S. Eaddy Ford Rd., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, February 2, 2023 in the Prospect Pentecostal Holiness Church, 213 N. Halfmoon Rd., Lake City, SC 29560.
