Barbara "Bebe" Harrell Kennedy, 67, widow of John Bennett "Benjie" Kennedy, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024 at MUSC Medical Center in Charleston, SC.

Bebe, as she was affectionately known, was born in Georgetown, SC, a daughter of the late Leroy and Bobby Jo Harrell.  She worked for many years as an insurance agent in Hemingway and Conway, SC.  Bebe was a member of Hemingway First Methodist church where she was serving as the church's Trustee. She was also an active member of the Margaret Huggins Circle and a Core Group Leader of the Hemingway Community Bible Study group. She enjoyed crafting, painting, watching sports and spoiling her two dachshunds. Most of all, Bebe loved her children and grandchildren more than anything.

Bebe is survived by a daughter, Amber Miller; sons, Taylor (Kathryn Anne) Miller and Michael (Emily) Miller; a step-son, Klay (Merrell) Kennedy; a step-daughter, Cassie (Rob) Mills; and a brother, Cliff (Dianne) Harrell; and eleven grandchildren.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, March 29, 2024 in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM Friday, March 29, 2024 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.

In Lieu of flowers memorials in honor of Mrs. Bebe may be made to the Hemingway First Methodist Church, P.O. Box 6 Hemingway, SC 29554
