Barbara Sue Owens Marlowe, 58, wife of David Marlowe, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 in the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.

She was born in Lexington, NC, a daughter of the late James Samuel and Frances Gabard Owens. She was a Daycare Teacher, and was a member of the Hickory Hill Free Will Baptist Church. She loved camping, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, David Marlowe; sons, Jamie (Lori Ann) Marlowe and Josh (Courtney) Marlowe; grandchildren, Kayla, Hailey, Brandon, Zackery, Madison, Hunter, and Emily; brothers, Floyd (Leona) Owens, Robert (Tammy) Owens, Keith (Theresa) Owens, Bobby (April) Owens; sisters, Leona Craver, Margaret McDaniel, and Wanda (Vernon) Marlowe; sister-in-law, Libby Owens.
She was predeceased by a brother, Ronnie Owens; brother-in-law, Bill Craver.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 2, 2017 in the Hickory Hill Free Will Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, June 1, 2017 in the Hickory Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 7234 Hickory Hill Road, Gresham, SC 29546.
