Bart Jason Tanner, 43, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at his home.

Bart was born in Florence, SC, a son of Gene "Hawk" Tanner and Gloria Young Tanner. He was in the retail business and enjoyed computers, reading, and cooking.

He is survived by his father, Gene "Hawk" Tanner; mother, Gloria Young Tanner; brother, Andy (Ben Chou) Tanner; sister, Diane Owens; paternal grandmother, Doris P. Tanner; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 14, 2019 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1760 Pope Road, Hemingway, SC 29554.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, September 13, 2019 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
