Benjamin Kaylib Eugene Miller, 30, passed away from gunshot wounds he sustained in his home, then passed at MUSC Health Black River Medical Center on Monday, November 18, 2024.

Kaylib was born in Florence, the oldest child of Bonnie Weaver Miller and Samuel Benjamin Miller.  He was a pipefitter with AJS Construction.  Kaylib was an artistic person who enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, drawing, and woodwork including woodburning.  He was also a fun-loving person who loved making people laugh and aggravating his mom, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

Kaylib is survived by his mother, Bonnie Weaver Miller and his father Samuel (Elaine) Miller; son, Dakota Miller; maternal grandfather Gene (Connie) Weaver; paternal grandmother Janet (Barry) Morris; brothers and sisters Victoria Miller, Bailey (Sethe) Miller, Erica Byrd, Eric Byrd, Edward Byrd, Joseph Waterman; aunts and uncles, Jeff Miller, Johnny Powell, Jody Weaver, Tina Weaver, Jenni Thompson, Michele Benson, Melissa and Wesley Hughes; niece and nephew Sage Miller and Secret Miller; and cousins JT Thomas, Stanley & Gage Johnson, Madison Taylor, Jeremy Owens and Remington Owens.

Kaylib was predeceased by his grandparents Kenneth and Donna Miller, uncles Jody Weaver and Kurt Owens.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 2 P.M. in the Old Johnsonville Methodist Church Cemetery, 846 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 26, 2024 from 12 PM – 1 P.M.in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel.
