Betty Jo Narron, 81, departed this life Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at her home surrounded by family.  Betty was born the daughter of Rufus Eugene Jones and Josie Lee Jones on October 17,1941 in Florence County, SC.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and taking care of her children.  She was a dedicated member of The Christian Fortress for 39 years.  At church, she was a member of the Busy Bees and the WOW club.

Betty loved to go anywhere her family would take her.  Her favorite place to visit was the mountains, and she loved it when the whole family would come along.  Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart.  Not a day would pass that she didn't pray and thank God for her many blessings, even through sickness.

She is survived by four children: Norma (Edward Browning) Kirton, Gary (Christy) Narron, Sherry (Mike) Rufus, and Bruce (Jina) Narron; Six grandchildren, Kevin (Tiffany), Jordy (Tammy), Julie (Brice), Jeremy, Delaney, And Kambrie; seven great grandchildren, Holden, Sutton, Hendrix, Jaxx, Hudson, Reese, and Hayden. She is also survived by one brother, Leon (Opel) Jones; and two special nephews, Greg and Travis.

She was predeceased by her parents and by her husband of 43 years, Clinton O'Dell Narron.

A Celebration of Life Service, conducted by Morris Funeral Home, will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, March 10, 2023, at The Christian Fortress, 536 US 521, Andrews, SC 29510. Burial will be in the Andrews Memorial Cemetery, 7662 Georgetown Hwy, Andrews, SC 29510. Officiating will be Geraldine Bednego.

The Narron family will receive friends Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Christian Fortress Church.
