Beulah Mae Stone, 75, passed away on Monday,  June 2, 2025, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center in Florence, SC.

A daughter of the late Herman and Lena Mae Woodberry Stone, Beulah was born on June 24, 1949, in Florence, SC.  She worked for many years as a machine operator for AVX, where her hard work and commitment were deeply valued.

Beulah found joy in life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed coloring and working on crossword puzzles, often spending quiet moments with a pencil in hand and a puzzle book nearby. Watching television was another favorite pastime that helped her to relax.  Beulah loved her work as well as her time alone; however, above all else, she loved her family deeply and cherished the time spent with them.

Beulah is survived by a daughter, Annette "Prissy" Martinez; a son, Dan Stone; grandchildren Justin Martinez, Jacob Martinez (her favorite), Beverly Willis, Heather Mims, and Brittany Smedley; great-grandchildren Amiah McKenzie, Jaeden Moreno, Johnis Leah Owens, John Thomas Owens, Hunter Mims, Carter Smedley, and Emily Smedley; a sister, Lu Ann (Ronnie) Weber; and a brother, William Stone.

In addition to her parents, Beulah was preceded in death by a son, Billy Stone; grandson Johnathan Moreno; Carthen "Cobb" Powell; and a sister, Myrtle Martin.

A graveside service, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Hickory Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery located at 7234 Hickory Hill Road, Gresham, SC, 29546.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N Main Street, Hemingway, SC, 29554.
