Blona Lee Eaddy Taylor,90, passed from her earthly life into her eternal home on Sunday, December 31, 2017.

She was the loving wife of W. Jack Taylor for 66 years and missed him greatly when he preceded her in death. Blona was the daughter of the Rufus F. and Vaughn Cox Eaddy. She was a graduate of Hemingway High School and Florence Business College, and worked for 28 years as a Book Keeper for Florence School District Three.

Blona was a dedicated member and blessing to her churches, Lake City United Methodist and Hemingway First United Methodist. The many ways she served others exemplified her close walk with Jesus. She also enjoyed her role as a member of the Margaret Huggins Circle and the Sunshine Club.

As a loving mother, Blona passed on her legacy of faith to her daughters, Kaye T. (Keith) Callicutt, Ginger T. (Randy) Springs, and Joanie T. (Steve) Newell. She was a devoted grandmother to Jonathan (Ali) Callicutt, Jacquelyn (Stevie) Marsha, Kelly (Meredith) Springs, Kyle (Julie) Springs, Taylor (Olivia) Chinnes, Benjamin Chinnes (predeceased), Ashley Newell, and Michael (Anna) Newell. In her later years, she took great delight in her 14 great-grandchildren.She is survived by her sister, Alvena Belflower and sister-in-law, Mary Lynn Poston.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in the Hemingway First United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 Am until 10:45 AM Tuesday, January 2, 2017 at the Hemingway First United Methodist Church, 201 E. Broad Street, Hemingway, SC 29554.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hemingway First United Methodist Church, c/o Choir Fund, PO Box 6, Hemingway, SC 29554.
