Bruce Noble Braynard, age 70, went to his heavenly homecoming on July 14, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 15, 1951, in Glen Cove, New York to the late Edwin Crasto Braynard and Lois Blydenburgh Braynard.

He was a well-known large boat mechanic who owned and operated Bruce's Marine Service. He was a sought-after mechanic in the Charleston, Georgetown, and Myrtle Beach areas and traveled to other areas of the U.S. to work on various vessels.

He was passionate about his music, playing piano and bass guitar. He performed as a bass guitar player in many local bands in the Georgetown and Myrtle Beach areas. He attended Pawley's Island Community Church for many years where he also played music. In addition, Bruce was a talented electronic equipment repairman who specialized in tube amplifiers and radios. He loved interacting with people on his HAM radio and met many operators over the years. He was a civil defense radio operator during hurricane Hugo.

He is a father to four children whom he loved and was very proud of. They are Matthew M. Braynard (Benita), Darren E. Braynard (Sunita), Sara T. Price, and John A. Braynard (Brigitte). He is a grandfather to Rajin and Aria Braynard (Darren and Sunita). In addition to those family members listed above surviving are Rose Fenstermacher, his girlfriend and companion whom he loved passionately; brother, Paul C. Braynard (Patricia); sisters, Amy Bunn (Rob), and Carrie Avant (Shane).

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 21, in Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Hemingway, SC with burial in the Lee Cemetery, 26 McCutcheon Road Lake City, SC 29560.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 21, 2021, in the Morris Funeral Home and Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
