Carol Louise Allen, 74, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 in a Lake City hospital.

Carol was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late Harry Allen, Jr. and the late Elnora Cox Allen Bartell. She was a retired school teacher having taught in Georgetown, Williamsburg and Florence county schools. She was a graduate of Johnsonville High School and the University of South Carolina where she received a B. S. in Education.

She was a member of Old Johnsonville United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and was a former Sunday School Teacher. She also enjoyed shopping, singing, and socializing.

She is survived by her brothers, Harry "BoBo" (Barbara) Allen, III and Vasker Calvineau "Vic" (VaDonna) Bartell, Jr.; nieces, Harriet (Wade) Stone and Cynthia (William) Joye; cousins, Randy (Janice) Cox and Lisa Cox.

Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway is assisting the family.

Services will be Private.
