Carolyn Poston Cox, 84, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the McLeod Hospice House.

Ms. Cox was born in Pamplico, SC, a daughter of the late Clynton Deleon and Nealie Belle Cox Poston. She was retired from Baxter Laboratories in Kingstree after 32 years and she was a member of Stone's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church. Ms. Cox also served as a Nurses Aid for Commander Nursing Center. She loved catering, cake decorating, gardening, and especially her dogs.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Purvis, Susan (Kenneth) Craven, and Deborah Mixon; brother, Larry "Dobbin" (Martha) Poston; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Ms. Cox was predeceased by a daughter, Janet Schultz.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, April 27, 2019 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Riverside Cemetery, Riverside Cemetery Road, Pamplico, SC 29583

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM Saturday, April 27, 2019 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
