CHRISTINE "PEANUT" POSTON PROSSER

Christine "Peanut" Poston Prosser, 82, widow of Roosevelt Prosser, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 in McLeod Hospice House.

Mrs. Peanut was born in Salem, SC, a daughter of the late Jack and Rhoda Flowers Poston. She was a homemaker, a member of Prospect Pentecostal Holiness Church and she enjoyed thrift store shopping, and putting up Christmas lights.

Surviving are her children, Ralph (Karen) Poston, Sr., William (Becky) Prosser, Joey (Melanie) Prosser, Russell (Tina) Prosser, Marie (Terry) Coker, and Dianne (Keith Hopkins) Smothers; 21 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; special niece and nephew Mary and Ron Ard.
She was predeceased by 4 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Hemingway, SC.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12 :00 PM in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554 and  other times at the home, 714 North First Neck Road, Johnsonville, SC 29555.
