Dairen George Jacobs, 77, husband of Linda McCall Jacobs, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Dairen was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late George S. and Mary Abrams Jacobs. He was one of the founders of McCall's Incorporated and served as the President and CEO of the business.

He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina class of 1969 and was a member of the Johnsonville United Methodist Church.  He loved the beach, working, playing golf, and fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 54 ½ years, Linda McCall Jacobs; children, Jessamyn Esther Jacobs (Stuart Johnson), Adrian George Jacobs, and Nathan James Jacobs; grandchildren, Amber Jacobs, Violett "Mylo" Jacobs, and Dakota Jacobs; brother, Louie (Rose) Jacobs; sisters, Kay Jacobs (David) Spires and Donna Jacobs (Bill) Jacobs; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, Bernard.

He was predeceased by a brother, W. Sherwyn Jacobs.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in the Johnsonville United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in the Johnsonville United Methodist Church, 240 N. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.
