Daisy Omega Murrow Matthews, 77, widow of David S. Matthews, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at her home.

Mrs. Daisy was born in Marion, SC, a daughter of the late Barney Odell and Rhoda

Capps Murrow. She was a homemaker and attended the Johnsonville Church of God. She enjoyed traveling, working in her flower beds, crafting, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Tony (Jesica) Matthews and O'Dell Matthews; brother, William Murrow; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in the Unity Free Will Baptist Church, 1907 Lake City Highway, Johnsonville, SC 29555. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the Lake Chapel Cemetery, 860 Lake Chapel Road, Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the home of Tony and Jesica Matthews, 1643 Lake City Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.
