Windell Dan Hartfield, Sr., 67, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 in Florence, SC.

Dan was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late Eugene and Carrie Estelle Matthews Hartfield. He was a retired auto sales manager, contractor, and businessman. He attended the Hemingway Pentecostal Holiness Church, was a graduate of Johnsonville High School, earned an Associates Degree in the Arts from Emmanuel College and also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Francis Marion University.

He enjoyed fishing, racing, watching TV, but most of all he loved his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Windell Dan (Samantha) Hartfield, Jr. and Danielle (Tim) Martin; brother, David (Sherry) Hartfield; 4 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by a brother, Wylie Hartfield and sister, Eve Hartfield.

Services will be private, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC.
