Daniel V. "Danny" Carmichael, 65, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in a Charleston hospital.

Danny was born in Hemingway, SC, a son of Oren Baxley and the late Bertalene Owens Baxley. He collected autographs, movies, and was also a movie and history buff.

He is survived by his father, Oren Baxley; sister, Rene' (Greg) Proctor; brother, Jimmy (Tina) Carmichael; nephews, Stephen Proctor, Kristopher Proctor, Keith (Diane Moore) Carmichael, and Kevin (Amanda) Carmichael; niece, Jessica Carmichael; great nieces and great nephews, Charlotte Proctor, Sullivan Walker Carmichael, Mitch Carmichael, Mason Carmichael, Dallas Carmichael, Jonathan Carmichael, and Emma Grace Carmichael.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 2 PM Saturday, March 21, 2020 in the Lake Chapel Cemetery.
