Danny Joseph Baker, Sr., husband of Edith Raines, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024 at MUSC Florence.

Danny was born in Rock Hill, SC, a son of Milford Jackson Baker and the late Otis Madison Baker, Sr. He was a small engine mechanic, served 10 years active duty as a US Marine and 9 years in the SC National Guard. He was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and attended York Technical College.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on both cars and small engines but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family especially the grandchildren.

He is survived by wife, Edith Raines; mother, Milford J. Baker; children, Devon Elisabeth (Jody Nichlson) Baker, Danny Joseph (Antonia) Baker, jr. and Danny Joseph (Kelly Bundy (Baker (The First Born) and step daughter, Chasity Nicole Cunningham; brothers, Otis Madison (Edna) Baker, Jr. and Russ Baker, Sr. and sister, Dinah Baker; 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 2  nieces and 3 nephews.

He was predeceased by a grandson, Juan Carlos Gutierrez
