Danny Wayne Squires, 65, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in Georgetown hospital.

Danny was born in Conway, SC, a son of Martha Sue Tindal Squires and the late Anthony Wayne Squires. Danny was the owner and operator of Squires Drywall, Inc. and was a drywall specialist for 50 years. He was a graduate of Pleasant Hill High School and was a member of Good Hope United Methodist Church as well as the  Palmetto EZ Riders Motorcycle Group. He loved riding motorcycles, four wheelers, and talking to his friends. He especially loved spending time with his family and two special grandchildren; to them he was known as "PaPa".

Danny and Teresa had a special love for 49 years with 34 years of those being a wonderful, blessed marriage. Danny loved Teresa dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Collins Squires; mother, Martha Sue Tindal Squires; daughters, Traci (Drew) Powers and Tara Squires; grandchildren, Kase Powers and Taya Powers; sister, Vanessa (Eddie Joe) Goude; brothers, Kerry (Mirandi) Squires and Marty (Kristi) Squires; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 30, 2021 in the Liberty Southern Christian Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM Saturday, October 30, 2021 in the Liberty Southern Christian Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1277 Pope Road, Hemingway, SC 29554.
