DARWIN "SPANKY" STONE

Darwin "Spanky" Stone, 53, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 in a Florence hospital.

He was born in Hemingway, SC, a son of David C. Stone, Sr. and the late Sara Ellen Cribb Stone. He was a retired Bus Driver for Florence County School District # 5 and was a member of the Prospect Pentecostal Holiness Church. He enjoyed riding bicycles and kayaking.

Surviving is his father, David C. Stone, Sr.; siblings, David C. (Karen) Stone, Jr., Debbie S. (Michael) Garrelts, Melinda S. Graham, Daniel R. (Sharon) Stone and Ruthie S. (Terry) Marlowe; step-brother, Ronnie Lewis; step-sisters, Debbie (Lee) Gray and Kim (Leon) Neighbors; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Hemingway, SC.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
