Hemingway, SC

David Everette Conner, Sr., 71, husband of Natasha Cribb Conner, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at his home in Hemingway, SC.

David was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late Dalmer Eugene Conner and Fara Tanner Miller. He was a retired steel worker and a  member of the Indiantown Masonic Lodge #165 who had a love for music, was a talented guitarist, loved tinkering with small engines and was an RC enthusiast. He enjoyed following politics but most of all spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Natasha Cribb Conner; a son, David E. (Marsha) Conner, Jr.; daughters, Mellissa (Ken) Tanner and Barbara (Joshua) Conner; step-son, Hurley Cribb; grandchildren, Tyler (Brooke) Tanner, Garrett (Brittany) Tanner, Macy Conner, Jon-Gordon Tanner, and Janna Grace Conner; great-grandchildren, Luke Tanner, Kenzlie Tanner, Mavery Tanner, and Sully Rebecca Tanner, who is due in November; and parents-in-law, Walt and Sylvia Cribb.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 2 P.M. Friday June 19, 2020 in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 11904 Pleasant Hill Drive, Hemingway, SC, 29554.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Family Life Center and at other times at the Conner home, 1290 Bullard Road, Hemingway, SC, 29554.
