Deborah Thompson Hanna, 62, wife of Steve Hanna, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at her sister's home.

Mrs. Deborah was born in Georgetown, SC, a daughter of the late Walker S. Thompson and Daisy Port Ard. She was retired from Tupperware and was also a former Manager of the Huddle House in Hemingway. She was a member of Word of Life Church and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband, Steve Hanna; son, Sessions (Denise) Parker; and grandchildren, Tyson, Devin, and Drew; brother, Rev. Keith (Lynn) Thompson; sisters, Christine (Steven) Sherwood and Dianne (Ricky) Smith; a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, June 16, 2018 in the Word of Life Church, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM Saturday, June 16, 2018 in the Word of Life Church, 942 S. Clayfield Road, Johnsonville, SC 29555.
