Deborah "Debbie" McElrath Lawrimore, 74, wife of Percy Lawrimore, Jr., passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Debbie was born in Spartanburg, SC, a daughter of the late Rev. Hiram and Jean McElrath. She was a former Director for Mary Kay Cosmetics and she was a member of the Johnsonville First Baptist Church where she played the piano for many years.

She enjoyed singing, playing the piano, sewing, tending her flowers, watching sports on TV especially the SC Women's Basketball Team, but most of all she loved spending time with her three wonderful grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Percy Lawrimore, Jr. and daughters, Erin (Richard Cox) Lawrimore, Denise (Greg) Glisson, and Megan (Will) Bolt; grandchildren, Peyton Glisson, Violet Glisson and Delaney Bolt; sisters, Susan Yarborough and Joye Hanna; sisters-in-law, Gail Lawrimore and Guynita (Quinn) Davis and a number of loving nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregiver Ms. Doreen McFadden.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, April 1, 2024 in the Lawrimore Memorial Cemetery, 2299 Muddy Creek Rd., Hemingway, SC 29554.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:30 PM Monday, April 1, 2024 in the Johnsonville First Baptist Church, 145 N. Georgetown Rd., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

Memorials may be in honor of Mrs. Debbie Lawrimore to the Johnsonville First Baptist Church, PO Box 314, Johnsonville, SC 29555.
