Hemingway, SC

TSgt Dianne Abrams, USAF (Ret), 65, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020, in a Florence Hospital.

Dianne was born in Hemingway, SC, a daughter of the late Winston D. and Bertha Lee Hucks Abrams. She was retired from the United States Air Force, after which she worked at Yank's. She was a member of Huggins Chapel Southern Methodist Church, where she was a part of the Ladies' Missionary Society. She enjoyed spending time in the mountains with her family.

She is survived by her sisters, Janice (Cecil) Cooper, Hazel Abrams, and Sarah Powell; nieces and nephews, Marie (Tommy) Barnes, Marsha (Davy) Conner, David (Michelle) Powell, and Stephanie Powell (James); great-nieces and nephews, Macy Conner, Hanna Barnes, Nichole Powell, Janna Grace Conner, Owen Barnes, Chloe Powell, Allison Hines, and Haiden Parker

She was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Abrams; and a nephew, Jeffery Cooper.

Funeral services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at 2pm, at Huggins Chapel Southern Methodist Church. Burial, with full military honors, will be in the Old Johnsonville Cemetery, 860 S Georgetown Hwy, Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, from 6-8pm, at Huggins Chapel Southern Methodist Church, 1665 Hemingway Hwy, Hemingway, SC 29554.
