Dianne Mims Richardson, 75, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at a Charleston hospital.

Mrs. Dianne was born in Johnsonville, SC, a daughter of the late Joseph Benjamin "Benny" Mims and Daisy Powell Mims. She attended Johnsonville schools and was retired from the textile industry. She was a wonderful seamstress and cook and attended Florence First Baptist Church. Her life was dedicated to her family: her two children, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Jody Richardson; a daughter, Shannon (Eric) Walters; grandchildren, Madison (Gerard Miraglia) Walters, Connor Richardson, Lauren Walters, Grace Richardson, Nick Walters, and Olivia Richardson; great-grandchildren, Eliannah Grace and Joseph Dean; and best friends, Lottie Bailey and Jewel Franklin.

She is predeceased by her brothers, Wilbur Mims and Gene "Buddy" Mims; and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Thompson.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery, 114 East Trinity Road, Johnsonville, SC 29555.
