Doris Creel Bass, 55, widow of Howard "Buddy" Bass, Jr. passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

Doris was born in Georgetown, SC, a daughter of the late Henry Leroy Hardee and the late Sarah Martha Creel Wildes. She was a homemaker and enjoyed singing, painting, playing bingo and watching Family Feud on TV, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters Sherri Bryant and Nichole (Sean) Bryant; stepson Eric Bass; grandchildren, Nathan, Ethan, Marshall and Elizabeth; siblings, Sheila Hartley and Timmy Hartley and numerous, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 30, 2022, in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Hemingway, SC. Burial will be in the Old Field Cemetery, 19761 Choppee Rd., Hemingway, SC 29554

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, July 29, 2022, in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 North Main St. Hemingway, SC 29554.
