Dorothy Langley Tilton, 86, widow of Parkley H. Tilton, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, at her home.

Mrs. Dorothy was born in Lake City, SC, a daughter of the late Legrand and Leatha Powell Langley. She was a member of Outland Church of God, and she enjoyed gardening, crocheting, doing word search and jigsaw puzzles, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Wanda Tilton Guthrie and Darrell (Angie) Tilton; 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, David Langley, Robbie (Lisa) Langley, Francis Brabham, Carolyn Tisdale, Peggy (Ted) Nettles, and Betty Barnhill.

She was predeceased by a son, Robert Harris Tilton, a brother, Tommy Langley, and a sister, Lulu Belle Walker.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 31, 2022, in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Piney Forest Cemetery,18300 County Line Rd., Andrews, SC 29510.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday, October 30, 2022, in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
