Earline Ard Atkinson, 79, passed away Thursday September 3, 2020 peacefully at her Sumter home. Ms. Earline was born in Hebron, SC, a daughter of the late P.K. and Olivia Prosser Ard. She was a retired Line Operator from the Tupperware Company in Hemingway, a member of the Westside Free Will Baptist Church, and was a caregiver to many.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Elliott) Davis and Lisa (John) Jackson; three grandchildren, Cody (Paige) Helms, Kayla (Tyler) Poston, and DaKota (Chris) Parker; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Tavell Todd; two very special nieces, Libby Gaskins and LuAnn Todd. She was predeceased by a son, Wayne Cook.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 6, 2020 in the Westside Free Will Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the Prosser Cemetery, 3360 Big Swamp Road, Pamplico, SC 29583.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the Westside Free Will Baptist Church, 530 Vox Highway, Johnsonville, SC 29555.

We would like to say a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice for everything they've done. Also a very special thank you to mama's nurse Deanna Thomas, who has been with us every step of the way through this trying time.
