Engram A. "Joe" Springs,85, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018 at his home.
Mr. Joe was born in Hemingway, SC, a son of the late Mary Estelle Springs Baxley and the adopted son of Bennie and Lilly Tanner Springs. He was an auto mechanic and loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing.
Surviving is his wife Minnie Bell Morris Springs; daughters, Kathy (Bill) Porter and Tammy Springs; grandson, Adam (Abbie) Porter; granddaughter, Bridgette (Joey) McConnell; brother, T. J. Baxley; sisters, Mildred Lorrine Guerry and Billy Ann Burg; 7 great-grandchildren; predeceased by 5 brothers and 7 sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in the Freedom Tabernacle Full Gospel Church Cemetery, 264 Roy Road, Hemingway, SC 29554, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the cemetery, 264 Roy Road, Hemingway, SC.
