Etta Mae Powell Baxley Stone, 92, widow of Allen E. Baxley, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2021 in a Florence hospital.

Mrs. Etta was born in Pamplico, SC, a daughter of the late Waiter and Cola Turner Powell. She was a member of the Beulah Free Will Baptist Church and the Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed quilting, fishing, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Mike Baxley, Mark Baxley, and Laura Miles; step-children, Lynn Kalvliokalaoi, Robin (Jackie) Quick, Michael (Lilly) Stone, and Rusty (Sharon) Stone; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a husband, John L. Stone.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 13, 2021 in the Beulah Free Will Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM Thursday, May 13, 2021 in the Beulah Free Will Baptist Church, 235 W. Bazen Road, Pamplico, SC 29583.
