Evelyn Loretta Miles Baxley, 76, wife of Jimmy Baxley, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at her home.

Mrs. Evelyn was born in Scranton, SC, a daughter of the late Ernest and Fannie Anne Matthews Miles. She was a homemaker and an active member of El Chapman Worship Center. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Baxley; children, Bobbie (Todd) Gaymon, Debbie (Leo) Woodberry, and Wendy (Jimmy) Poston; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Francis (Doug) Coward and Willard "Pete" Miles Coward.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Kipp; and a brother, Robert "Stumpy" Miles.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 2 PM in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be held at the Garden of Devotion, 800 South Georgetown Highway, Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 PM on Monday, December 28, 2020, in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 North Main Street, Hemingway, SC 29554.
