Obituary

Mrs. Fannie Belle Cooper Altman, 84, widow of Clarence Webster "Coot" Altman Jr. passed away Monday, January 1, 2024 in the Conway Medical Center, Conway SC.

Mrs. Fannie was born in Myrtle Beach, SC, a daughter of the late Frisco and Fannie Cooper. She was a member of Little Bethel Free Will Baptist Church and was retired from Tupperware. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and crossword puzzles but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family and her dog Snooki.

She is survived by her children; Lisa (Wade) Coward, Wendy (James) McDonald, and Jeremy (Hayley) Altman; grandchildren, Lindsey Coward, Olivia (Will) Adams, Ethan (Alice) McDonald, Ashlyn (Blake) Fowler, and Madelyn Altman; great grandchildren, Cooper, Boone, and Blakelynn; and daughter-in-law, Julie Altman Lyles.

Mrs. Fannie was predeceased by her son Scotty Altman; brothers and sister, Gary Cooper, Buddy Cooper, and Isco Timmons.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 4, 2024 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Eaddy Ford Cemetery, 481 S. Eaddy Ford Rd., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Thursday, January 4, 2024 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554. They will also receive friends over the next several days at the family home, 2207 Vox Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

A special thanks to her sons-in-laws, Wade and James, and to her daughter-in-law Julie for their special love and care.
