Frances Stroup Wrains, 85, widow of John Thomas Wrains, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Frances was born in Cherryville, NC, a daughter of the late Lloyd Stephen and Alma Bryte Houser Stroup. She was a greeter for the Lake City Walmart and was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Surviving are her daughter, Lura Ann Gilliam; step-son, John Thomas Wrains; step-daughter, Kimberly Ann Wrains; granddaughters, Sabrina LaRene Meditz and Tiffany Robin Collins; grandson, Stepehn Edward Young; great-grandsons, Sean Mikel Collins and Dalton Collins; great-granddaughters, Amiah Blake Elise Moreno, Peyton Jane Meditz, and Naomi Diana Young.
She was first married to the late Loyd Laxton Harris.

Arrangements will be announced at a later date. Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC is in charge of local arrangements.
