Furman Deland Cain, Jr., 50, passed away unexpectedly on January 6, 2018 in Greenville, NC.

Furman was born in Kingstree, SC, the son of Joyce Jones Haselden and the Late Furman Deland Cain. Furman attended Johnsonville High School in Johnsonville, SC and was a talented carpenter. He loved the outdoors and was the happiest with a hammer in his hand in the midst of a project.

Furman is survived by his mother, Joyce Jones Haselden and her husband Bobby; sister, Cindi Cain Moore and her husband (Jim); favorite nephew, Fletcher; and his soulmate and best friend, Sylvia White.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Hemingway, SC. A private burial will be held at a later date.

The family will receive friends form 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
