Furman Anderson Poston, 68, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in an Atlanta, GA hospital.

Furman was born in Pamplico, SC, a son of the late Mercer A. "Mutt" and Ruby F. "Polly" Poston. He was the owner and operator of Paladin Construction Co., a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church, enjoyed music, collecting guitars and was a member of the band called The Bold Breed in the 70's.

Surviving is two sisters, Dianne P. (Harold) Bazen and Deborah "Debbie" (Dean) Strickland; brother, Michael Mike" (Edna) Poston; a number of nieces and nephews; and a very special thank you to his caregivers; and employees, Mannie and Young.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, October 14, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM Sunday, October 14, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
