Gary Kenneth McKissick, 74, widower of Kathy Parrott McKissick, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in the McLeod Hospice House.

Mr. Gary was born in Greenville, SC, a son of the late Williams McKissick, Jr. and the late Lucile Bayne McKissick. He was a retired Project Manager for Industrial Contractors in Johnsonville and was also a member of the Benefit Committee of Johnsonville. He enjoyed fishing, riding to the river to check on the water and playing cards.

Surviving are his children, Anita McKissick Prosser, Paul (Theressa) McKissick, Brad (Patty) McKissick, Greg (Connie) Fennell, and Peggy (Chris) Baxley; sisters, Cindy (Gordon) Privette, Helen (Clifton) Thompson, and Jo Beth (Keith) Laster; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Alene Thompson McKissick.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday, December 29, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 29, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.
