George Lynn Poston, 63, passed away at his home on Thursday March 1, 2018.

Mr. George was born in Georgetown, SC, a son of Sarah Carol Baxley Poston and the late Jessie D. "Tinker" Poston. He enjoyed NASCAR, drag racing, motorcycle racing, and watching wrestling.

Surviving is his mother, Sarah Carol Poston, sisters; Virginia (Earl) Thompson and Jackie Poston Collins; nephews, Lonnie E. (Cheryl) Thompson, Jr.; niece, Vanesa Barefoot Bone; great-nephews, Lonnie E. Thompson, III, Christopher L. Bone, Sydney J. Bone, and Dawson O. Thompson.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Georgia Ellen Poston; brother, Jessie D. "Tiny Boy" Poston.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 4, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Hemingway, with burial in Prosser Cemetery, 3360 Big Swamp Road, Pamplico, SC 29583.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Saturday, March 3, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main Street Hemingway, SC 29554.
