Gerald Eugene Marlowe, Sr.,66, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 in the McLeod Hospice House.

Mr. Gerald was born in Johnsonville, SC a son of Bernice Creel Marlowe and the late Boyd Marlowe. He was a carpenter and was a former member of the SC National Guard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are his children, Tonia Young, Joni Marlowe, Gerald "Noot" (Brook) Marlowe, Jr., and Carolyn (Uriel) Espinoza; sisters, Carolyn M. Altman and Angie (Jeff) Hill; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by brothers, Phillip Marlow and Daniel Ray "Dan" Marlowe.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 2, 2019 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Lake Chapel Cemetery, 860 Lake Chapel Road, Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, March 1,2019 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
