Geraldine "Gerry" Hardee Lambert, 88, widow of Wayne P. Lambert, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Gerry was born in Hemingway, SC, a daughter of the late Luther Worley and Nita Cox Hardee. She was retired from Tupperware Mfg. Co., a member of the Johnsonville United Methodist Church and also a member of the Hemingway Chapter Order of the Eastern Star # 156.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, taking care of others, but most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Carroll (Loretta) Lambert and Lynn (Gerald) Poston; brother Jabe Vernon Hardee; grandchildren, Hal (Abbie) Lambert, Kristen (Chris) Burton, Carrie (Randy) Joye, Beth (Cal) Marsh; 7 great-grandchildren and a large number of nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by brothers, L.W. Hardee and Wilson (Sonny) C. Hardee; sisters, Hazel H. Hobbs, Cappie H. Turner, Lura H. Poston, and Mary Jane Spears.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 14, 2020 in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
