Ginger Sue Cameron Lewis, 68, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrell's Inlet, South Carolina.

A daughter of the late James Rodford and Ruby Mae Cameron, Ginger was born on October 17, 1957, in Hemingway, South Carolina.  She lived a life marked by generosity, passion, and deep devotion to her family.

Throughout her life, Ginger found joy in the simple pleasures that brought her closer to the people and things she loved most. She had a deep affection for animals and was known for her love of sports cars—an enthusiasm that reflected her spirited nature. Music was another constant companion in her life, providing both comfort and celebration through the years.

Ginger took great pride in her work in restaurant and retail, where she found purpose and connection with those around her. Her dedication to her job was matched only by the warmth she extended to coworkers and customers alike. Beyond her professional life, Ginger was a woman with a giving spirit. She was thankful for the opportunity to contribute to various organizations close to her heart, always seeking ways to make a positive impact.  Above all else, Ginger cherished time spent with family.

Ginger is survived by her sister Sylvia Haselden; nieces Stephanie (Harry) Bolyn and Lori (Paul) Lampo; nephews Wyatt (Lisa) Cameron, Chad Haselden, and Cody (Kayla) Cameron; great-nephews Hunter Cribb, Mason Haselden, Jack Lampo, and Aiden Cameron; and great-nieces Taylor Cribb, Reese Haselden, Haisley Lampo, Kassidy Cameron, Peyton Cameron, Maddy Moran, and Genny Gunter.

In addition to her parents, Ginger was preceded in death by her son Cameron Rodford Lewis; brothers James Wildon Cameron and Ronnie D. Cameron; sister-in-law Sarah Cameron; and brother-in-law Freddie W. Haselden.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N Main street, Hemingway SC, 29554
