Gladys Thompson, 84, on October 11, 2018, Gladys departed from her home on this earth and is now resting in Heaven with her lord and savior Jesus Christ and her loved ones who have gone on before her. She will not have to suffer any more pain or sickness.

Miss. Gladys was born in Hemingway, SC a daughter of the late Lemuel and Ida Lou Tanner Thompson loved to go to Church when she was able to go. She loved talking and laughing with her Church family.

Surviving are her sisters, Pearline T. Creel and Betty T. Hartfield; brother, Warren (Nita) Thompson; foster sister, Geraldine (Bob) Adams; sisters-in-law Sally Thompson and Lynn Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by four brothers, James, Leverne, Harvey and Thadis Thompson;
Sister, Lucille T. Fennel.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Saturday, October 13, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1760 Pope Road, Hemingway, S.C. 29554 directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Saturday, October 13, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 North Main Street, Hemingway, SC 29554
